Welcome to StageHound!

Hello, and welcome to StageHound. This is a platform that exists by musicians and music lovers, for musicians and music lovers. We strive to make sure that relationships between Fans, Artists, and Venues are not only formed, but retained over time.

Please take your time when reading through these terms and conditions of using this site, as they are legally binding.

By clicking “I understand”, you’re agreeing to these terms and conditions. You’re also agreeing to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, and you’re agreeing to follow any other rules on the site, like our Community Guidelines and Rules for Campaigns.

A Big List of “Don'ts!”

We know that you’re a good person, but we have to include this list of things you really shouldn’t do here at StageHound. If you do, we might have to revoke your account access.

  • Don't break the law

→ Obviously, the law exists here on StageHound’s platform. Don’t break it in any way, or you may find yourself in trouble.

  • Don't pretend to be someone that you’re not

→ By creating an account or registering on StageHound, you’re promising to be yourself, and not try to copy anyone else or impersonate another user.

  • Don't lie, cheat, or steal

→ Events and Campaigns are meant for the good of the music industry. Don’t ruin it by lying to people - that’s how the music industry got itself in this mess in the first place!

  • Don’t Victimize

→ Don’t do anything threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, libelous, or invasive of another person’s privacy.

  • Don’t Spam

→ Don’t distribute unsolicited or unauthorized advertising or promotional material, or any junk mail, spam, or chain letters. Don’t run mail lists, listservs, or any kind of auto-responder or spam on or through the Site.

  • Don’t hack, or try to harm anyone else’s computer

→ Don’t distribute software viruses, or anything else (code, films, programs) designed to interfere with the proper function of any software, hardware, or equipment on the Site (whether it belongs to StageHound or another party).

  • Don't abuse others’ personal information

→ When you use StageHound, you may receive information about other users, donors, or contributors. This information is provided for the purpose of fulfilling the campaign, and for nothing else! Don’t use it for any other purpose. Remember, these are your friends, fans, and family. Don’t do anything that will mess that up.

  • Don't be a Dick

→ Just don’t. Be nice or leave. Life would be so much better if everyone practiced more kindness and empathy.

The buyer agrees to purchase, meaning that the buyer will be held responsible for any and all payments that are made through the site stagehound.io

The buyer agrees to fully understand his or her purchase before accepting the final agreement in purchase. The user hereby agrees to indemnify StageHound in any conflict event happening between Artist, Venue, Fan, or otherwise. The user accepts the agreement that StageHound exists as a platform for these users to exist and to run campaigns, and thereby cannot and will not seek legal action that may put the platform at risk. The user (Artist, Fan, or Venue) agrees to make legally-binding agreements with his or her counterpart user (Artist or Venue), and hereby indemnify StageHound in any disagreements that may arise.

StageHound charges a $1 commission that is built into the cost of tickets with our proprietary calculator system. The Artist asks for the guarantee amount they wish to receive, and the Venue requires a certain amount of tickets to be sold. This allows for our system to calculate the minimum ticket cost requirement for the Venue and the Artist to make the amount of money they each had agreed upon. The commission is calculated pre-ticket cost value, so there are no ‘hidden fees’ for the Fans to worry about.

Additionally, while StageHound provides a platform and a calculator system for the Artists and the Venues to use, the Artists and the Venues are responsible for finalizing a ticket price.

Contact Us

If you have any questions about these Terms, please contact us.

If you've read this far, we like all of the M&M colors and prefer sparkling water over still. Light snacks are appreciated. Chips, salsa, and cheese are always welcome. We're not even remotely scared of hot food although we respect the ghost pepper and carolina reaper. They should be kept it their rightful place. Whoever invented bubble gum vodka should be fired from research and development, that is a truly horrific idea. And most important: Please ALWAYS leave the mayonnaise on the side; that stuff is gross.
