Asheville, North Carolina metal outfit formed in 2016.
Dawn of Dismality:
Starting out as a solo project by At Death's Behest guitarist/songwriter, Evan Maurus, Dawn of Dismality was formed in autumn 2017. Classified as progressive death/doom metal, their sound ranges from atmospheric, ethereal soundscapes, melodic/acoustic passages, to heavy, dark and groovy wall of guitars accompanied with thunderous, shredding drum beats.
March 2020, the band established a full line-up. June 2021, Dawn of Dismality released their debut album, 'Half-Light Ascension'.
